Through fine shredding, pelletization and extra fine shredding of RAS (Reclaimed Asphalt Shingles), we make it possible to produce the new roofing materials.

Our solution of handling and managing RAS is storing and transporting in the shape of pellets (granules).

Processing stages:

  1. Primary Grinding and Metal Separation
  2. Transportation of RAS to – Pellet Plant
  3. Fine Shredding and Pelletization
  4. Shipment of –Pellets to Asphalt Shingle and Roofing Manufacturers
  5. Extra Fine Shredding
  6. Production of new Roofing Materials

–Pellets are designed as a feedstock for asphalt roofing manufacturing process using standard equipment for asphalt roofing shingles production. The new roofing materials can contain 30-60% of pellets (depending on the quality of raw material and required quality of the end product). The proportions and properties (density, viscosity, softening point, etc.) of asphalt in pellets are determined precisely for each delivery batch. Pellets are to be coated by dolomite or limestone powders to avoid sticking to each other.

Mineral particle size after reprocessing:
average size – 0.1 mm
maximum size – 0.3 mm

Backings are shredded to individual fibers with size less than 1.0 mm

Scaling up of our Equipment for bigger projects is easily implemented by adding our basic manufacturing units (modules).
